This Rolex watch is in vintage condition with surface wear to the bracelet, case and bezel. Bracelet has stretch consistent with its age. Hands and hour markers have developed patina due to natural exposure.

Rolex developed the Day-Date in 1956. At the time, it was the only watch to offer a movement built with a day and calendar wheel within the perpetual movement. Each feature is prominently displayed on the dial with the date at the 3 o'clock marker and the day spelled out in full at the 12 o'clock marker. The Day-Date is also known for its opulent style. Constructed entirely out of 18 karat yellow gold, this vintage Rolex stands to gain in value in the coming years. This reference is also accompanied by a Rolex Presidential bracelet with three-piece links and a concealed Crownclasp for an exquisite fit on the wrist.

I was very satisfied with my purchase, an absolutely beautiful piece; I wanted to add that the staff had been phenomenal and helpful. Larry knew his stuff and recommended me getting the 1963/64 model of the Day Date as it has a little out of the ordinary "door stopper" markers and the sword hands, slightly more collectable and different.
