Case: | Excellent stainless steel case that shows surface wear consistent with use. The case appears to have been lightly polished. The "Pepsi" bezel has faded over the years and shows wear throughout. The blue has faded throughout and the red has turned to a pinkish color. |
Dial: | Very good black dial with creamy hour markers. The dial has a fine and consistent spotting/patina throughout, it still remains glossy. The hour markers and hands have developed patina. The white gold surrounds have developed some patina on some of the hour markers. The lume in the hour hand shows some wear when looking with a loupe. The lume in the hands is slightly lighter than the lume in the hour markers. |
Bracelet: | Very good stainless steel 78360 Oyster with 12 links and 580 end links. The bracelet shows some slight stretch between the links and has some scratches and marks throughout. The clasp has a slight indentation in the center. Back of clasp is stamped "MS" making it from 1988 which makes sense for the production and sale of the watch. |

This Rolex watch is in great, honest vintage condition consistent with age. The case has been lightly polished and has some scratches. The bezel has aged nicely over the years and shows wear throughout. The dial has aged over the years and has a consistent patina/ spotting throughout. The lume has aged nicely over the years and is close to matching in the hands and on the dial. The bracelet is in great condition with light stretch and some wear.

Rolex produced the GMT Master 16750 for about 7 years from 1981 to 1988. During that time, the watch became available with either a glossy or matte dial. The glossy variant had white gold-trimmed indices, while the matte edition did not. This example is the earlier and often times more sought after matte dial version. This reference is considered transitional because Rolex blended vintage and modern elements like the matte dial with plastic crystal coupled with the new quick-set movement. This gives you the 1675 vibe with the modern comfort of a quick-set date and that is another reason why these are starting to get more attention.
This example has aged nicely over the years and has a great vintage look. The bezel has faded quite nicely with the blue becoming more of a sky blue and the red has almost a raspberry hue.

The watch was just as described, in fact, better than described online. The transaction was simple, secure, and seamless.
This was my first time working with Bob's and the process could not have been better from my perspective. The watch was a gift for my son who enjoys watches...this will be his 6th Rolex. I didn't participate in the conversations but he had several several questions which the staff fully answered. I entered when it was time to settle up. The customer service was great and the watch arrived very quickly. I'm not the the watch enthusiast in the family, but I see no reason why we wouldn't be looking for # 7 with Bob's as well.
