| Case: | Very good stainless steel case that has previously been polished with moderate surface wear from use that shows dings and scratches. The bezel has faded to a lovely grey color throughout and in some lights has a slightly purplish tint. The bezel shows wear and has scratches throughout. The bezel is missing most of the pip at 12 o'clock. The Inner case back is stamped: 5513. Serial and reference numbers are crisp and well defined. Acrylic crystal has surface wear from use. |
| Dial: | The Mark 1 "Maxi" dial is in overall excellent condition with light patina throughout. The hour markers and hands have all aged to a lovely cream color with a hint of yellow. The minutes hand is a later replacement and the color is close to the rest of the lume on the dial. |
| Bracelet: | The later stainless steel 93150 Oyster bracelet with 13 links and 593 end links is in overall great condition with some wear stretch. The bracelet has some indentations on both sides of the clasp and shows signs of wear on the divers extension. The clasp is stamped "K2" indicating it is from 1986. |

The bezel on this example was originally jet black and has aged over the years and now is a beautiful grey color. Collectors refer to these faded bezels as "ghost bezels" and have become highly sought after.
