The Rolex 16710 was integral to the GMT Master II collection because it introduced the famous pilot's watch to a slimmer, more comfortable case. When the GMT Master II first came to market, it featured a newly independent GMT hand, which, at the time, required a thicker case and movement. Reference 16710 changed all that and became a fixture of the Rolex catalog for years. Several iterations are available on the secondary market today, including the black bezel Rolex for sale here. Features include a Tritium dial, no holes case, and caliber 3185 Perpetual movement. Buy it today in excellent secondhand condition.

Received a GMT Master 16700 as a surprise Christmas present! Amazing condition for being 30 years old. Has original tritium face with black bezel. Feels like going back in time. Outstanding condition and certified. Very happy; will never sell but looking forward to a purchase with Bob's in the near future to add to my collection!
I truly enjoy the versatility of this watch. I can wear it anywhere- from a boardroom to the beach. It’s also built like a tank. For someone who is careful, yet clumsy, putting small scratches on it is no biggie.

Great condition, looks almost like a new watch. Bezel has even more color than the pictures. Also, the watch is much lighter than I thought. I haven’t owned an older model so was surprised. It could be a ‘con’ for some, I’m undecided.
