The vintage GMT Master reference 16700 is a notable addition to the impressive GMT Master family. Shortly after the release of the GMT Master II, Rolex continued to produce new models for the original GMT Master line, including the reference 16700 that is offered here today. The 40mm Oyster case is equipped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a waterproof screw-down crown, creating a highly resistant timepiece for any adventure or occasion. The case also utilizes Rolex's red and black "Coke" bezel that can be adjusted by the wearer to track home and local times simultaneously, a feature that was developed with the help of the Pan American Company as a tool for professional pilots.
