The first Batman GMT Master II was released during Basel World 2013 via ref. 116710. This was the first instance of a dual-tone ceramic bezel in black and blue on any Rolex watch. The ref. 116710 is offered in 904L Oystersteel, runs on a calibre 3186 Perpetual movement, and was only produced on a flat-link Oyster bracelet. Just a few years ago, at Basel World 2019, Rolex unveiled a brand new Batman GMT via the ref. 126710BLNR that you see here today. Similar to its predecessor, the ref. 126710 boasts an all-steel finish and a black and blue ceramic "Cerachrom" bezel insert. What sets this example apart from the 2013 model is the choice of a five-piece link Jubilee bracelet and a newer calibre 3285 Perpetual movement with a skeletonized Chronergy escapement and a 70-hour power reserve. The hottest hardest to get Rolex steel sports watch to my doorstep less than 24 hrs. Perfect condition. Though listed as previously worn, but excellent condition. I could not even find the tiniest scratch or defect. Bob’s saw to it that even the local time and 24 hr GMT hand were set accurately when the watch arrived.
