The Omega Speedmaster was the first wristwatch worn on the Moon. Decades later, Omega continues to release variations of the iconic chronograph. The classic "Moonwatch," as many horology buffs have since come to call it, is usually distinguished by a similar black dial and black bezel design set as the watch that explored the lunar surface. Ref. 3511.80.00 is a handsome variation of the collection, even though it isn't technically a traditional Moonwatch. Instead, it features a colorful blue dial, a stainless steel Tachymeter bezel, and vertical registers on the dial to make room for an added date mechanism. It's a unique collector's item, and it belongs in your watch box.
