In 2016, Rolex unveiled a brand new take on the classic Air-King that retained the simplistic aesthetic of the inaugural model while bringing a contemporary design to the table. That watch was the ref. 116900 and its feature set is the perfect balance between sport and dress. The case maintains a classic tool watch diameter of 40mm and also features an engraved rehaut, a smooth, high-polish bezel, and a flat-link Oyster bracelet closed by an Oysterclasp. The most notable feature of this modern Air-King is the dial, which mirrors cockpit instruments via luminous 5-minute hour markers, silver 3/6/9 Arabic markers, bright green accents, and luminous hands.

Excellent buyer experience. Bob’s made sure I was the one purchasing the Air King and not someone else who may have obtained my credit info. Watch was shipped the next day via Fedex as advertised. Description of watch was actually understated in a good way. Rolex was in even better condition than advertised I assume in an attempt to manage expectations which were happily exceeded.
